I haven't tried it yet, I will, but I just have to say your posting style is probably the most entertaining on the entire forum
Edit: ZOMFG!!111!!1!!1!oneoneeleventeyone!!!! That's the coolest game ever!!! It's seriously what I've always wished Geometry Wars was!! It's even more insane and fast paced that Geometry Wars with better controls. OMFG I love it!!
The XRR surprises me, as does the FXR. I do like the XRR, I love the FXR but I don't race the GTR class much anymore. It's interesting how this stuff works.
That's really odd, with my DFP the force feedback in GPL feels great. Maybe mess around with the profiler settings or something. I just use 100% force feedback strength and 300 degree rotation and it feels fine to me.
For some reason I installed it just 2 days ago. It doesn't like my soundcard so I have to run it with almost no hardware sound acceleration but it's still a blast to drive I actually still have my original CD from 9 years ago, I got it the very month it came out in the US Still no real scratches either, I'm keeping that disc forever
It truly is amazing how fun a 9 year old game can be. I fired it up again and proceeded to take 45 seconds off my PB at the Nurburgring... I'm 3 seconds off the benchmark now, I'll get there this week I'm sure
Not to mention the builder of the dp1 HAS an Ariel Atom, one with a V8 that weighs less than that Civic lump, and has more power. The dp1 was built for the sole purpose of outperforming that Ariel Atom, it has the same engine, downforce, all wheel drive, and a lot less weight. I can tell you which one I'd rather have....
It's pretty nice yes, but it's not like, "ZOMG T3H AWESOME!!!!!!." My girlfriend has a tablet for her PC, and she does stuff that's just as nice as that. I'm not trying to bash the guy's skills, as he obviously has more artistic talent than me, but there's a lot of people who can do stuff like that
What he means it you can make an autocross layout and put the start position anywhere you want, unfortunately, you start standing still, so it's not quite the same.
Yup, I run both Rockbox and the original firmware, and it works just fine
I have a Toshiba Gigabeat F20 by the way
Dual booting is a bit sketchy though, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but the Gigabeat build is only a few weeks old, it's better supported on other MP3 players
Never used an iPod period, well, I've played with friends' iPods, but never transfered anything. I wasn't suggesting Rockbox to take tracks off, either, but as an alternative to the normal firmware.
I'd recommend Rockbox for your iPod, I believe it works on the smaller one, I know it works on the bigger HDD models. Anyway, it's a neat, cross platform firmware for MP3 players. I have it on my Toshiba gigabeat, it allows me to play videos, which the originial firmware didn't, there's a bunch of other stuff it does too, including play the original Doom in all it's 3D glory
But anyway, all I can do is just make the same sound come out both my speakers and my headset, so I doubt I'll be able to do it. I don't see an option to choose what sound goes where. If I was going to do anything, I'd probably just get a USB headset. Thanks anyway, though.
I know you use a USB headset, is it possible to do that without one? I have 3 programmable audio jacks on my motherboard, and I can set two to be audio out, but I still doubt it'd work.
